There is nothing that speaks autumn more perfectly than a visit to a pumpkin patch. It must have been more than twenty years when I last step foot to one, during elementary school. I remembered that I picked the largest pumpkin I could find to "get my money worth". I looked on with envy at my wise friend who picked a cute little pumpkin as I dragged mine through mud. Thanks to the " stay at home" order this year with the pandemic, I managed to convinced my husband to take me to the local Taves Apple Farm. This family run farm really exceeded our expectations. The locked pumpkin path, with a vast display of different colour pumpkin was such a delight! However we enjoyed the corn maze and walking through the apple orchard just as much. Being able to enjoy nature and its produce is such a blessing. We love the fresh taste of the apple cider, corns and mini peppers from their store. I have a feeling that next time convincing my husband to go back would be much easier!
